Chapter 373 Selling Pavers for New Memorial
Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 373 is selling brick pavers to complement a new Vietnam Veterans Memorial in front of the Dale County Commission building in Ozark, Ala. More than 50 local residents’ names who lost their lives in the war are inscribed on the wall.
The pavers will form a walkway around the wall, which cost $13,000 and was made possible thanks to community donations. “We are selling those to individuals and businesses — anybody that would like to honor Vietnam veterans,” USMC Master Sgt. (Ret.) Harry Grainger, chapter vice president, told WTVY-TV.
