Chapter 970 Gives Gift Bags to Veterans
Volunteers from Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 970 joined members of the Georgia Mountain Chapter Military Officers Association of America, the Tralitha Chapter of the Daughters of the Revolution and American Legion Post 239 to assemble 150 holiday gift bags for veterans at the VA Medical Center in Atlanta. The Military Officers Association has spearheaded the effort since 2012 to brighten the holidays for sick veterans.
