Dean Tran.

Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 907 in Gardner, Mass., donated $2,000 to the Mount Wachusett Community College (MWCC) Foundation’s Veterans Memorial Scholarship in November. The donation was part of the group’s planned annual giving, and the chapter raised the funds in part through its annual Vietnam Veterans of America Memorial Ride, which took place on the Sunday before Memorial Day.

The chapter established the scholarship to help student veterans and ensure that their service and sacrifices will not be forgotten. Scholarship awards got to new or returning full-time students who currently serve with, or were honorably discharged from, the U.S. armed forces, reserves or National Guard.
