Chapter 96 Sends Donations from Florida to Texas

Big Bend Chapter 96 of Tallahassee, FL is supporting relief efforts in Texas after Hurricane Harvey ravaged the Houston area. 

The chapter received a donation of time, truck and trailer from local truck owner/operator Bryan Smith to distribute goods and supplies to those affected by the storm.

The chapter hopes to have the trailer filled with clothing, non-perishable food, paper goods, cleaning supplies, personal hygiene items, school supplies, and pet food. The trailer travels to the Texas coast in mid-September.

Additionally, Big Bend Chapter as set up a GoFundMe page to send a monetary donation as well.

The chapter is partnering with local chapters in Texas to ensure that the donations reach those in need.
