Chapter 1012 Members Honored at Little League Game

Members of Chapter 1012 were honored by the Southwest Regional Little League group at the George W. Bush Little League Training Center in Waco, TX. 

The commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War honored five chapter members during the tournament game.

The little league group wanted to recognize Vietnam veterans’ service and bravery. Chapter 1012 Vice President Gary Urban expressed appreciation for the honor, especially considering their unwelcome return from the war.

Urban, dressed in white along with the other four veterans, threw out the first pitch of the game and said that the recognition was an emotional moment.
