Chapter 203 Welcomed Home

Over 1,000 members of the Chattanooga, TN community recently expressed their thanks and expressed a warm welcome to local Vietnam veterans and Chapter 203.

Vietnam veterans in attendance were pinned with the Vietnam Commemorative Pin by the Cherokee District Daughters of the American Revolution.

Highlights of the Welcome Home event included a map with each of the veterans’ combat locations in the Republic of South Vietnam, an explanation of the Vietnam Commemorative Pin by Joe Galloway, author of We Were Soldiers Once – and Young, and music at the picnic dinner.
