Veteran Monument Gets an Assist from Chapter 1066
Chapter 1066 in Big Hill, KY presented Eastern Kentucky University a check in support of a “Missing Man” monument on its veterans memorial.
The bronze monument will be revealed on Veterans’ Day. It will feature a military helmet, rifle and boots.
The 50-plus members of Chapter 1066 have supported their community in many ways. Recently, the chapter donated funds towards the construction of a house for homeless women veterans.
